The most established the the three Western Province associations, the Kiunga Netball Association continues to grow with the township.  An influx of people has made Kiunga a booming township and with it has been the recreational need of the towns women folk.

Sporting facilities still remains a concern but the enginuty of the women folk themselves always manage to see their competition through.
